Rooted in Passion

Students Social Welfare Trust (SSWT) was formed in 2021 by environmental science students who refused to stand by as our local water bodies suffered from waste contamination and city forest cover rapidly depleted.

We realized that while students possessed the energy and drive to create change, they lacked a formal channel to collaborate, gather funds, and obtain governmental permissions for large restoration tasks.

Today, SSWT serves as that bridge—organizing weekly weekend drives, funding research projects on local flora, and planting indigenous tree species to restore regional ecosystems.
